How this calculator works
Gold position sizing uses the absolute price difference, not a universal definition of a gold pip. Raw lots = risk budget ÷ (price distance × ounces per lot × currency conversion). The 100-ounce preset is an example; verify your broker’s actual symbol specification.
For cross-currency calculations, enter how much one unit of the instrument’s quote currency is worth in your account currency. There is no automatic exchange-rate feed. Contract sizes, volume limits and pip conventions must be checked in your broker’s symbol specifications.
These are estimates, not order instructions. Fees, spreads, slippage, price gaps and changing conversion rates can increase actual losses. Margin availability is not a safe position-size limit.
